Senior Perception Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Atlanta, GA

What you will do

• Train, deploy, and monitor 2D/3D object detection models using Camera, LiDAR, and Radar data.
• Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines for data collection, labeling, and performance evaluation.
• Manage and maintain a proprietary multi-modal dataset for model training.
• Architect a deterministic secondary perception system to ensure safety and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers on technical best practices and perception development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of focused experience in perception, including sensing, preprocessing, detection, and tracking.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS2.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working with autonomous robots.
• Experience developing CUDA kernels.
