Junior Java Developer (Java)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and document software components based on functional and technical specifications.
• Implement application features using Java and related frameworks, including APIs and services.
• Create and execute unit tests, support testing activities, and help resolve software defects.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality by applying development standards and feedback.
• Support integration, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile teams.

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
• Minimum 2 years of overall IT experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on Java development with related frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, web services, application integration, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of Git, Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle concepts, and coding best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, learning, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, JUnit, or Mockito.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD tools.
