Senior Java Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and components essential for the OMaaP platform.
• Integrate APIs with technologies such as Kafka, Elastic, and Cassandra to ensure data persistence and system communication.
• Collaborate with Ops engineers to implement and optimize API integrations, bridging the gap between development and operations.
• Participate in Agile Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning and iterative development cycles.
• Deliver working software to production every two weeks and set up delivery metrics using Prometheus.
• Automate deployment, functional testing, and technical testing processes from the start.

Requirements

• Proven experience building high-quality Java 17+ and Spring Boot microservices in distributed environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka, Docker, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, Cassandra, and the ELK stack.
• Strong capability in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, domain models, and integration contracts.
• Ability to contribute to architectural discussions regarding service boundaries and event-driven communication.
• Solid background in unit and integration testing using JUnit and Karate Framework.
• English: Excellent communication skills required.
