M&T Bank’s Wilmington Trust asset management function provides investment research, strategies, and thought leadership for wealth clients.

What you will do

• Research and help build monthly investment strategy content for Investment and Portfolio Management Committees.
• Develop supporting materials and analyses for calls and meetings with client-facing Advisors.
• Research investment strategy topics using research-provider materials and academic literature.
• Develop investment charts and research for written materials supporting client advice.
• Collaborate with senior strategists on internal and external investment-related content.
• Identify risk-related issues for escalation and maintain internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of analyst experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience without a degree, including at least 3 years of analyst experience.
• Experience researching investment strategies and developing financial analyses.
• Ability to follow risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
• Ability to collaborate with senior members and support client-facing investment materials.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress toward obtaining it.
• Knowledge of capital markets or experience in the investment management industry.
