MLOps Automation Senior Lead Engineer

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; office workplace

Salary: $93,000–$189,000 annual base pay, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead a team building and deploying MLOps automation for data-driven projects.
• Streamline data, analytics, and model development lifecycles by identifying productivity barriers and automating manual tasks.
• Design unattended delivery pipelines for data pipelines and model builds.
• Develop automated testing, environment provisioning, and production model-monitoring feedback mechanisms.
• Collaborate with product development, architecture, data engineering, testing, operations, quality assurance, and security teams.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues and present design and implementation documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of relevant automation or software engineering experience, including technical leadership with data-centric products.
• 10+ years of experience with one or more coding languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and development platforms such as Jenkins, Artifactory, CircleCI, Ansible, AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, automation scripting, configuration management, test-driven development, and release management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of DataOps and ModelOps principles.
• Experience with agile development and financial services.
• Ability to train junior analysts and learn new technologies.
