Mortgage Loan Officer - Denver, CO

Location: Denver, CO; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $10.00–$11.54 per hour as a non-recoverable draw reconciled against earned incentive compensation, plus eligibility for an incentive compensation plan.

What you will do

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Support customers from loan approval through closing and coordinate with loan origination sources.
• Secure and verify information required for underwriting.
• Maintain client relationships and advise customers on completing loan applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
• NMLS license.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
• Written and verbal communication, organizational, multitasking, and PC/internet skills.

Nice to have

• Existing pipeline and book of business.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio mortgage programs.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
• Experience identifying opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.
