Finance Leader - Accounting

What you will do

• Complete, review, verify, and approve monthly journal entries and cash disbursements.
• Perform full-cycle month-end close activities in agency and ERP systems for an assigned portfolio of approximately $200M in annualized revenue.
• Reconcile balance sheet, bank, and other accounts and review supporting documentation.
• Manage and coordinate the month-end close process with the GL Accounting team.
• Maintain the fixed asset roster, approve supplier invoices, and prepare control documentation.
• Assist with ASC 606 monthly and quarterly entries, analyze financial results, and communicate them to Finance Leaders and office staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to follow corporate and industry quality-control standards and maintain accurate, timely transaction records.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
