What you will do

• Partner with AI researchers as the clinical domain expert throughout the development of clinical AI products.
• Design and lead clinical evaluations, defining medical quality standards and assessing model outputs for safety, accuracy, and clinical value.
• Act as the medical product owner by identifying unmet needs, translating clinical requirements into product specifications, and defining new features.
• Ensure AI products reflect real-world medical practice and improve outcomes for patients and clinicians.
• Translate clinical considerations for technical teams and technical trade-offs for clinical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Licensed physician or equivalently qualified clinician with substantial hands-on clinical experience.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or a related generalist field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, patient safety, and the appropriate use of AI in medicine.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with researchers, engineers, product teams, clinical managers, and external partners.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge medical, technical, and commercial perspectives.
• Builder’s mindset with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to converting clinical expertise into healthcare products.

Nice to have

• Clinical experience in the United States.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, digital health, or health tech products.
• Experience with LLM-based product development, coding, data analysis, or similar technical work.
• Comfort with EMRs, especially Epic.
• Previous experience in product development.
