Senior Operations Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates based on the US East Coast are preferred.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year

Hydrosat is a space and data analytics company building an Earth observation constellation and software platform based on thermal infrared imagery.

What you will do

• Support the Chief of Corporate Operations and executive leadership with cross-functional analysis, coordination, and strategic projects.
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial, operational, compensation, budgeting, benchmarking, ERM, ESG, OKR, and KPI models.
• Create executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that turn complex operational and financial topics into actionable narratives.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly revenue reviews, business reviews, and other leadership initiatives.
• Define and track efficiency metrics across departments and support departmental operating plans.
• Develop financial and compensation models suitable for review by leadership, the board, and investors.

Requirements

• Strong Excel modeling skills and experience creating polished PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience in corporate operations, business operations, or corporate finance, including exposure to complex organizational or financing topics.
• Structured, organized thinking with excellent written and analytical communication skills.
• Ability to support a Chief of Corporate Operations and other executives with sound judgment, discretion, and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask across diverse professional topics and time zones.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in both large-company and startup environments.
• Experience supporting a C-level executive or executive leadership team.
• Exposure to space, geospatial, Earth observation, or another deep-tech industry.
• Experience building departmental planning, efficiency, or compensation models.
