Financial Controller (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

What you will do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes covering the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, accounting policies, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Lead revenue recognition and contract accounting for subscription, milestone-based, implementation, services, and hardware-enabled offerings.
• Produce recurring management, board, and investor reporting, including cash runway, cash waterfall, margins, profitability, billing, collections, deferred revenue, churn, and backlog views.
• Automate finance reporting workflows, reconciliations, controls, and reporting models using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
• Manage working capital, AR/AP, tax and audit coordination, COGS, gross-margin drivers, and project profitability analysis.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including Controller or audit and industry experience.
• Strong technical accounting foundation with IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge, including IFRS 15 or ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience building recurring financial reporting and automating finance reporting workflows.
• Hands-on ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with BI or reporting tools, preferably Power BI.
• High ownership, attention to detail, and strong cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware, software, and services business models, including RaaS, IoT, robotics, consumer technology, or industrial technology.
• Lease accounting experience.
• Experience linking cloud, GPU, or compute usage to unit economics and product profitability.
• Experience supporting fundraising diligence and investor reporting.
