Onboarding Specialist

Location: Palo Alto, CA; onsite, not remote, with relocation required if not already local

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 for Level 1 or $105,000–$145,000 for Level 2 annually

What you will do

• Manage and scale the domestic employee onboarding program.
• Lead the design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of orientation and onboarding programs.
• Partner with stakeholders and HR leadership to maintain new-hire information and create onboarding resources.
• Develop expertise in onboarding systems including Workday, Jira, and Greenhouse.
• Track onboarding metrics and implement recommendations to improve program effectiveness.
• Prepare weekly orientations and provide timely support to new hires and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning and development, human resources, or program management.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto, California; relocation is required for candidates who are not already local.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience leading projects from inception through implementation.
• Familiarity with SharePoint or another content management system.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse and Workday.
• Expertise in onboarding.
