Relationship Banker

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States; branch-based, face-to-face work environment

Salary: $22.61–$37.67 hourly

What you will do

• Develop, retain, and expand customer relationships through proactive outreach, portfolio management, consultations, and follow-up.
• Identify sales opportunities, open accounts, prepare appointments, and meet personal and branch sales or referral goals.
• Evaluate financing requests, recommend loan structures, and submit complete loan application packages.
• Explain consumer, mortgage, home equity, business banking, treasury management, and merchant services products.
• Build referral relationships with community organizations, centers of influence, business bankers, and mortgage loan originators.
• Apply KYC, customer information profile, fraud prevention, audit, and operational risk controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience, or at least 2 years of proactive sales experience.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated financial services product knowledge and the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency with internet user-level technology and common communication tools.
• Ability to work in an open, face-to-face branch environment in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
• Ability to meet registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Notary public license.
• At least 3 years of financial services sales experience.
• Bilingual ability based on branch needs.
