Data Center Technician

Location: Onsite in Poland, based in Warsaw; travel between multiple work locations may be required.

What you will do

• Commission and decommission servers, network devices, and related data center equipment.
• Perform rack and stack operations, cabling, labeling, and initial power-on testing.
• Manage hardware inventory, asset registers, lifecycle activities, and capacity reports.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, replace components, and coordinate RMA activities.
• Support rack space planning, infrastructure layout optimization, and third-party contractor coordination.
• Maintain technical documentation and implement approved data center and core IT infrastructure changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of IT experience, including 2 years in data center operations or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience installing servers and network devices, including rack and stack activities.
• Knowledge of rack layouts, PDUs, structured cabling, labeling standards, LAN environments, patching, switches, and asset management systems.
• Ability to perform manual handling of IT equipment and work in environments with noise, low temperatures, and confined spaces; a valid Category B driving license is required.
• Very good English at minimum B2 level and eligibility to obtain an EU Personal Security Clearance are required.
