Senior Software Engineer, Global Banking & Markets, Digital Assets Technology - Multi-chain Tokenization (Web3)

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 base salary annually, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Architect and implement production-grade smart contracts, tokenization services, and interoperability components across Canton/Daml and EVM blockchain environments.
• Deliver multi-chain tokenization workflows for securities, funds, collateral mobility, and digital cash.
• Design secure cross-network transaction and settlement patterns, including escrow, asset locking, mint-and-burn, reconciliation, and failure handling.
• Model end-to-end asset lifecycles covering issuance, custody, distribution, transfers, settlement, corporate actions, redemption, and reporting.
• Build privacy-aware and operationally resilient distributed-ledger solutions covering identity, authorization, key management, wallets, signing, visibility, connectivity, and node operations.
• Establish engineering standards for smart-contract lifecycle management, testing, security assurance, observability, performance, resilience, and secure delivery.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience delivering production tokenization systems and smart contracts in financial services or another regulated enterprise environment.
• Strong EVM smart-contract engineering expertise, including token standards, access control, upgrade patterns, security remediation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and gas optimization.
• Strong Canton and Daml expertise, including templates, choices, contract keys, authorization, interfaces, privacy, upgrades, packaging, and automated testing.
• Experience designing multi-chain interoperability architectures involving cross-chain messaging, bridges, relays, validators, oracles, asset transfers, settlement finality, and reconciliation.
• Capital-markets and tokenization expertise across relevant asset classes, with the ability to protect confidential client, trading, position, and transaction data.
• Event-driven, API-first enterprise architecture experience using Java and/or TypeScript, REST/gRPC, and Kafka or equivalent platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience building EVM tokenization platforms with Solidity or Rust.
• Experience with interoperable bridges, protocols, and zero-knowledge-proof cryptography.
• Experience with agentic AI engineering, governed AI agents, tool orchestration, evaluation frameworks, human-in-the-loop controls, and specification-driven development.
