Internal Audit Manager (Fintech/Crypto)

What you will do

• Lead risk-based operational audits across governance, regulatory, financial, and operational processes, prioritizing post-acquisition integration audits.
• Assess integration and change risks including governance, regulatory licensing, finance, operations, and culture.
• Direct co-sourced specialist support and lead AI-enabled auditing to enhance coverage and efficiency.
• Manage multiple audit engagements end-to-end, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue remediation tracking.
• Partner with stakeholders across business, compliance, legal, risk, finance, and engineering to communicate audit results and advise on control improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and ensure compliance with global audit standards.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or regulatory examination within financial services, fintech, or crypto.
• Experience auditing complex, regulated environments with multi-jurisdiction exposure and post-acquisition integration.
• Leadership experience managing audit teams and co-sourced specialists.
• Comfortable working across multiple time zones with globally distributed teams.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
• Relevant certifications such as CIA, CISA, CAMS, CFE, or equivalent.
