Global Installation Engineer-Display CVD/PVD

Location: Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hefei, or Xiamen, China. The role requires on-site work, clean-room activities, and travel 75% of the time. Relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with senior field service engineers and customers on roadmaps, process flows, requirements, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support equipment operation and service delivery.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all on-site safety, environmental, and health protocols.
