After Sales and Claim Officer - General Insurance

hirify.global is hiring for an insurance administration and claims operations role focused on general insurance.

What you will do

• Calculate marine insurance premiums, prepare simulations, and draft special certificates for clients.
• Prepare and manage transaction invoices, review billing emails, record invoice numbers in NetSuite, and coordinate invoice bookings with Finance.
• Review insurance policies, validate policy details, and match premium payments from policyholders.
• Distribute invoices and policies to insured parties and arrange courier delivery of Letters of Indemnity and physical policies through JNE.
• Receive initial claim reports, register claims manually, review supporting documents, validate policy coverage, and perform preliminary claim analysis.
• Notify insurance companies, monitor claim progress, and keep internal reports and insurer portals updated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; Insurance, Management, or Accounting is preferred.
• Experience in general insurance or an insurance broker, especially in administration or claims.
• Basic understanding of Marine, Property, Engineering Insurance, and other types of losses.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and responsiveness to client needs.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP software is advantageous.
