Associate - Capstone Partners' Market Intelligence/Lead Generation

Salary: $70,000–$105,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Publish market intelligence reports, articles, and surveys for outbound business development.
• Lead primary research projects, including proprietary surveys.
• Analyze microeconomic and macroeconomic trends and their impact on M&A activity.
• Write research reports and articles for external publication.
• Collaborate with Lead Generation Services and banking teams across designated industries.
• Support senior team members with research and project execution, while contributing to industry events and coaching junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, English, or Business.
• At least 2 years of experience in business writing, market research, economic reporting, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, critical-thinking, and detail-orientation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines and work independently and collaboratively.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass an FBI background check with fingerprinting.

• Familiarity with Capital IQ, FactSet, and PitchBook.
