Sourcing Manager, Kids&Baby Shoes

What you will do

• Analyze business needs and identify, vet, pitch, sign, and onboard kids and baby footwear suppliers.
• Establish onboarding criteria and test periods while assessing vendors’ ability to scale.
• Manage supplier relationships through training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement programs.
• Expand the supply base and improve product costs, quality, replenishment speed, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with merchants, procurement, and vendors to optimize pricing and achieve margin targets.
• Develop contingency plans, backup suppliers, and alternative sourcing strategies while maintaining compliance and responsible sourcing standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in kids and baby footwear categories.
• Background in supply chain management or operations within the retail industry.
• Strong analytical, data-driven, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to changing challenges.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
