HVAC - Lab Technician

Location: On-site 5 days per week at the hirify.global HQ campus in Davidson, North Carolina; 1st shift.

Salary: $52,630–$74,340 annual base salary or hourly base pay range.

What you will do

• Operate commercial HVAC equipment, control test facilities, and collect and review experimental test data.
• Install, modify, and build developmental HVAC equipment and components according to engineering, agency, and testing requirements.
• Install and use laboratory test equipment, including data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow equipment, and pressure and temperature measurement devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC compressors and compressor test facilities independently.
• Maintain safe work areas and support product development and laboratory continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in HVAC or a related technical discipline with at least 5 years of relevant HVAC or compressor experience, or at least 7 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• EPA Type Universal Certification or willingness to obtain the certification.
• The role is safety sensitive and may require additional drug screening.
