HVAC/Chiller Technician (HVAC)

Location: Geismar, Louisiana. Field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations, with some travel and occasional overnight stays.

Hourly base pay: $18.09–$54.26.

What you will do

• Test, start up, commission, troubleshoot, service, and repair assigned HVAC equipment.
• Work with air-cooled chillers, packaged units, air handlers, variable frequency drives, and related systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, replacements, and equipment modifications.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with the ASM and Service Center Coordinator on maintenance, testing, repairs, and service findings.
• Maintain customer relationships, safety standards, and accountability for company assets while supporting overtime and occasional overnight work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial or industrial HVAC equipment, including chiller systems.
• EPA Certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers or smartphones.
• Ability to travel as required and work in field-based customer locations.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive role requirements, including additional drug screening if required.
