HVAC Service Technician - Kent (HVAC)

Location: Field-based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, with work conducted on-site at customer locations.

What you will do

• Diagnose system problems and repair HVAC products and equipment using hand tools, diagnostic software, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, warranty work, hire-related work, and commissioning at customer sites.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical point of contact.
• Collaborate with service desk, sales, operations, supervisors, regional service managers, and senior technicians.
• Prepare regular reports on completed and invoiced work orders and contribute to technical process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a service or field-based technician role.
• Relevant skills-based certificates, including F-Gas certification.
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and use diagnostic applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence are required.
• Availability for planned standby and call-outs on weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
