Field Service Technician (Electrical Equipment)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; field and customer-site work with travel throughout North America approximately 60% of the time. A valid passport is required for travel outside the United States.

What you will do

• Maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and software systems for the LENTON equipment fleet.
• Support the growth of the LENTON brand and promote products to rebar fabricators, contractors, and job sites.
• Provide technical and sales support in partnership with Regional Sales Managers.
• Train customers and conduct classes on the use of LENTON products and hirify.global equipment.
• Collect market and customer feedback and support market expansion.
• Apply company, local, state, and federal safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Machine repair, PLC, and computer systems training.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wire diagrams.
• Knowledge of servo motors and drives.
• Comfort working in the field and at customer locations, including frequent travel and short-notice trips.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, self-management, and relationship-building skills; ability to lift and exert the specified physical forces.
