What you will do
- Manage branch operations, profitability, sales, business development, transactions, servicing, and digital engagement.
- Lead, coach, develop, interview, and manage branch staff, including performance reviews and staffing decisions.
- Identify customer needs and grow Retail and Business Banking relationships through proactive outreach and community presence.
- Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and recommend bundled products and services.
- Resolve complex account servicing and escalation issues while improving future resolution processes.
- Maintain operational, security, compliance, audit, fraud prevention, and customer asset protection standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
- Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
- M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
- Proficiency with common PC and Microsoft Office software, internet, and email.
- Business Banking Specialist qualification within 18 months of hire; required insurance licensing may be completed within 18 months with company-provided training.

- Spanish bilingual ability.
- Successful sales and business development experience.
- Strong financial services product knowledge and exceptional customer service coaching ability.
