VP of Finance

Location: Boston, United States; downtown office-based role.

What you will do

• Lead North America controllership, accounting operations, general ledger integrity, and month-end and year-end close.
• Manage accounting, accounts receivable, and FP&A leaders while maintaining internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP compliance.
• Own annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, rolling forecasts, financial models, variance analysis, KPIs, and management reporting.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, pricing strategy, margin analysis, and capital allocation recommendations.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and HR to translate financial insights into operational decisions.
• Prepare board-level reporting and coordinate North America reporting, consolidation, intercompany, and transfer-pricing matters with global finance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience across controllership and FP&A.
• Experience owning full month-end and year-end close processes.
• Background in consumer products, manufacturing, or wholesale/retail distribution.
• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience, with strong ERP proficiency such as SAP, advanced Excel, and BI/reporting tools.
• Proven leadership of accounting and FP&A teams and the ability to influence executives.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or MBA.
• International or global finance coordination experience.
