Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; or U.S. Remote (On-site required)

Salary: $182,000 – $224,000

What you will do

• Build and own the entire corporate security program from scratch, covering identity, endpoints, SaaS, and email.
• Engineer zero-trust access models including SSO, device trust, and least-privilege provisioning.
• Develop automated detection and response capabilities for the corporate attack surface.
• Implement security as code and policy to ensure scalability as the workforce grows.
• Respond to live security incidents and manage containment under high-pressure scenarios.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United States.
• Hands-on experience securing a fast-growing company's corporate stack (IdP, MDM, email, SaaS).
• Proven track record of building effective detection systems and tuning out noise.
• Deep understanding of identity as the primary security perimeter.
• Proficiency in automating security tasks through code rather than manual runbooks.
• Experience responding to live incidents and making critical containment decisions.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise with Okta or equivalent identity providers.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR engineering.
• Background in macOS and Windows fleet security.
• Experience with insider-risk programs.
