Senior/Lead Cyber Security - Incident Response Engineer

Salary: $136,500–$214,500 per year

What you will do

• Design and facilitate incident response tabletop exercises across security, IT, engineering, legal, and business teams.
• Own the full incident lifecycle, including detection, triage, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident reviews.
• Build and maintain incident response plans, playbooks, and runbooks.
• Partner with threat intelligence, SOC, and engineering teams to improve detection capabilities and security controls.
• Support digital forensics investigations and lead incident response activities in cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud and AI security programs and apply AI and automation to incident response workflows.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing and facilitating incident response tabletop exercises or similar simulations.
• Enterprise incident response experience across the full incident lifecycle.
• Strong facilitation, communication, relationship-building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Working knowledge of forensics tools such as Magnet Axiom, Velociraptor, Volatility, FTK, or Autopsy.
• Experience with AWS cloud security fundamentals, cloud security, and AI security concepts.
• At least one relevant certification, such as GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or CISSP.
