TL;DR
Product Designer (AI): Designing developer-facing products for GPU cluster operators, AI platform engineers, and enterprise infrastructure teams with an accent on complex, data-dense interfaces, design systems, and production-quality frontend implementation. Focus on building cluster dashboards, API consoles, scheduling interfaces, observability surfaces, and translating high-fidelity designs into shipped UI.
Location: On-site in San Francisco, Austin, New York, or Seattle, United States
Salary: $197,000–$250,000 base salary annually, plus equity

What you will do
- Own end-to-end product design from research and wireframes through prototypes and shipped production UI.
- Design developer-facing products including cluster management dashboards, API consoles, job scheduling interfaces, resource utilization views, and observability surfaces.
- Write and maintain production-quality CSS and frontend markup in collaboration with engineering.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system with reusable components and interaction patterns.
- Conduct interviews, usability sessions, and feedback synthesis with technical customers and users.
- Partner with PMs and engineers to turn requirements into interaction models and implementation-ready specifications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience and a portfolio of shipped work on complex, data-dense, or developer-facing products.
- Experience designing developer tools, infrastructure interfaces, API consoles, observability dashboards, or similarly technical products.
- Figma proficiency and the ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
- Expert CSS knowledge, including cascade, specificity, Flexbox, and Grid.
- Strong HTML and frontend web proficiency, including React or an equivalent component-based framework.
- Ability to own designs from concept through production and communicate decisions clearly to engineers and PMs.
Nice to have
- Experience with physical infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or AI platforms.
- Experience building a design system from the ground up, including tokens, documentation, and adoption.
- Comfort modifying React components and prototyping directly in CSS.
- Research experience with SREs, ML engineers, DevOps leads, or platform engineers.
- Familiarity with technical-product visual language, information-dense dashboards, dark mode, and monospace typography.
