Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work at a hirify.global facility in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; Tempe, Arizona; or Los Altos, California. Limited travel and occasional weekend work may be required.

Starting salary: $105,000–$155,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive pay of up to 10% of base salary.

What you will do

• Translate research, experience strategies, hypotheses, and product direction into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, interaction designs, and development-ready assets.
• Design and iterate through empathy studies, concept testing, usability testing, customer feedback, analytics, and experiment results.
• Collaborate with Experience, Product, Technology, Enterprise Research, Content Design, architecture, and business partners to create and refine solutions.
• Apply experience architecture, design systems, brand standards, content principles, accessibility requirements, and pattern libraries.
• Support feasibility assessment, development, acceptance, and delivery by communicating design intent, resolving implementation questions, and validating product quality.
• Present design decisions and recommendations while independently managing complex assignments and contributing to design methods, tools, and practices.

Requirements

• Must be immediately eligible to work lawfully in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Three or more years of experience in Product Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Digital Graphic Design, Visual Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience applying human-centered design and translating customer needs, research, and product direction into usable, testable experiences.
• Intermediate to advanced Figma proficiency, including components, variables, libraries, responsive layouts, and interactive prototyping; proficiency with FigJam and presentation tools.
• Experience with design systems, interaction patterns, brand standards, accessibility requirements, content principles, experience architecture, qualitative research, usability findings, analytics, and product data.
• A portfolio demonstrating individual contribution, interaction design, prototyping, research-informed iteration, collaboration with Product and Technology, and customer or business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in innovation, incubation, emerging technology, new product development, or enterprise experimentation.
• Experience using artificial intelligence for concept exploration, research synthesis, prototyping, design iteration, documentation, or workflow improvement.
• Experience designing, prototyping, or evaluating AI-enabled products, agents, conversational experiences, or agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, HTML, CSS, JSON, design tokens, component libraries, or related frontend technologies.
• Experience supporting no-code and coded proof-of-concept activities or working in a large enterprise.
