Senior Manager, Experience Optimization

Location: Remote-optional within the United States

Starting salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, adjusted based on location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Own and optimize subscription, registration, and paywall experiences across national and local products.
• Lead experimentation across offers, messaging, templates, access rules, landing pages, and first-party data capture.
• Manage the Piano platform and establish conversion benchmarks, reporting, and scalable optimization processes.
• Optimize conversion from SEO, GEO, and AI-driven traffic while measuring performance with Analytics.
• Own audience segmentation and personalization in Segment across web and email.
• Partner with Product, Editorial, Revenue, Analytics, Design, Marketing, subscriptions, membership, and event marketing teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization, growth marketing, growth product, or digital experience optimization.
• Proven success improving conversion through A/B testing and experimentation.
• Experience with subscription, membership, or digital media businesses.
• Hands-on experience with paywall or subscription platforms; Piano experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills in funnel analysis, experimentation, and performance measurement.
• Experience with Segment, Braze, Sailthru, or similar marketing technology platforms, plus strong stakeholder management skills.
