What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales, business development, operations, and customer and employee experience.
• Lead, coach, recruit, and develop branch staff while managing performance, priorities, promotions, and staffing decisions.
• Identify Retail and Business Banking customer needs and grow business relationships through prospecting, referrals, community outreach, and outside calling.
• Own complex account servicing, error resolution, and escalated customer issues through final resolution.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle relevant products and services.
• Maintain operational, security, fraud prevention, audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of management experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certified and Precision Leadership Certified.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet, and email.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration requirements and meet applicable insurance licensing and Business Banking Specialist expectations.
