Site Project Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site at data centers in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $202,000–$232,000 per year, plus equity

Builds and operates large-scale data center and compute infrastructure for AI labs, governments, and enterprises.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of data center deployments, retrofits, upgrades, expansions, equipment refreshes, and decommissions.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, vendors, contractors, and service providers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sequence work around uptime requirements, maintenance windows, change control, and live-operations constraints.
• Coordinate with operations, facilities, engineering, subject-matter experts, and external contractors on technical site projects.
• Identify project risks, drive mitigations, and provide status, risk, and milestone reporting to site leadership and program stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and improve site-level processes, runbooks, and standards.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience delivering infrastructure, construction, facilities, or data center projects end to end.
• Ability to work on site at a data center full time.
• Experience owning project scope, schedule, budget, vendors, and contractors with minimal oversight.
• Working knowledge of data center or critical-facilities environments and executing work without disrupting live operations.
• Strong organization, communication, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar project tracking and scheduling tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with deployments, retrofits, upgrades, or capital projects in live data centers or critical facilities.
• Familiarity with commissioning, MEP, power and cooling, or structured cabling.
• Experience bridging construction or deployment handover into operations.
• Data center deployment or build delivery experience.
• PMP, CAPM, DCD, CDCP, BICSI, ITIL Foundation, Lean, or Six Sigma certification or experience.
