Bilingual EHS Manager

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States. Day shift with variable weekend requirements; some travel may be required.

Salary: $113,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
• Develop and deliver training on workplace safety, fire prevention, and the safe handling of chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.
• Inspect facilities, identify accident and health hazards, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
• Investigate accidents and injuries and prepare evidence and materials for hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
• Compile regulatory accident reports and maintain safety files and records.
• Administer the workers' compensation program and coordinate with the insurance carrier to reduce employee lost time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, with 5–8 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required.
• Ability to plan, direct, and implement organizational safety programs.
• Ability to supervise, train, evaluate, and direct employees.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Ability to work variable day shifts, including weekends, and travel when necessary.
