Associate Director - Native American Financial Services PM

Location: Remote within the United States; preferred locations include Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; and Detroit, MI.

Salary: $77,000–$154,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Originate, analyze, structure, and execute complex commercial loan transactions while meeting credit and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the credit portfolio of Native American Financial Services tribal clients and support government or nonprofit finance portfolios.
• Own credit monitoring, underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and risk management for assigned commercial accounts.
• Review financial statements, covenant compliance, collateral, borrowing bases, delinquencies, criticized loans, and other due diligence documentation.
• Coordinate loan documentation with legal counsel and collaborate with relationship managers, treasury management, credit officers, and commercial leadership.
• Develop customer relationships and present financial solutions that support fee, deposit, and portfolio revenue growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 or more years of commercial or corporate banking portfolio management experience, including underwriting.
• Experience with credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, and commercial lending transactions.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with Word, Excel, and additional banking systems and software.
• Work authorization and employment eligibility in the United States are required for this US-based role.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or another business-related field.
• Experience negotiating, structuring, and closing complex commercial loan transactions.
• Native American Financial Services, government, commercial gaming, healthcare, or nonprofit lending experience.
• Legal documentation experience.
