Senior Director Enterprise AI Enablement (AI)

Location: Remote, United States. Work is performed from the colleague's home, with occasional in-person team meetings potentially required.

Salary: $167,703–$268,325 per year.

What you will do

• Own the AI-for-Operators strategy, multi-year roadmap, reference architecture, P&L, and investment priorities.
• Establish and govern responsible workforce AI use across a regulated enterprise handling PHI and PII.
• Set standards for privacy, security, LLM usage, output validation, provisioning, access, and defensible adoption.
• Champion the capability with executives, secure funding and sponsorship, and define boundaries with adjacent AI organizations.
• Lead a small nucleus of a senior manager and two individual contributors while running the AI-for-Operators Center of Excellence.
• Manage the automation and agent portfolio based on time-to-value, adoption, fluency, and productivity impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in technology, digital workplace, or transformation leadership, including enterprise-scale adoption and governance.
• Experience owning a P&L or comparable investment portfolio.
• Demonstrated experience creating governance frameworks for tooling standards, adoption models, or AI and data policy.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, including credible ownership of strategy, investment, and risk with the C-suite.
• Track record of establishing a new capability rather than only optimizing an existing one.

Nice to have

• Healthcare, insurance, or other regulated-industry experience, including HIPAA or SOC 2 familiarity.
• Enterprise AI enablement, Copilot adoption strategy, or governance experience.
• Experience establishing a Center of Excellence and community of practice.
• Enterprise collaboration platform, M365, EUC, or digital-workplace leadership experience.
• Experience in a private-equity-backed, M&A, or turnaround environment.
