What you will do

  • Manage SPARTAN hardware, software, licensing, and government property assets throughout procurement, deployment, sustainment, refresh, transfer, and disposition.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, property, licensing, warranty, ownership, and lifecycle records for enterprise IT equipment and software.
  • Design and maintain a centralized asset-management tracking solution, including workflows, data standards, reports, and metrics.
  • Coordinate equipment receiving, inspection, tagging, storage, shipment, deployment, recovery, repairs, replacements, RMAs, and disposition across operational and integration sites.
  • Align physical assets, software, configuration items, bills of material, and deployed system baselines with engineering and Configuration Management personnel.
  • Support procurement, audits, budgeting, sustainment planning, lifecycle forecasting, software renewals, and technology-refresh activities.

Requirements

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain required program access.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience managing IT hardware, software, property, inventory, or configuration records in an enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software licensing, subscriptions, entitlements, maintenance agreements, renewals, and software lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with servers, network equipment, firewalls, storage, virtualization platforms, operating systems, and enterprise software, along with strong organization and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or other national-security programs.
  • Experience with classified or geographically distributed enterprise environments and asset-management tracking solutions.
  • Knowledge of GFP, GFE, contractor-acquired property, FAR/DFARS requirements, software-license compliance, and vendor audits.
  • Experience with DMSMS, obsolescence management, technology refresh, lifecycle planning, and Configuration Management.
  • ITIL, IT Asset Management, logistics, property management, or related professional certification.
