Senior IT Logistics Technician

Location: United States; Anchorage, Alaska. Remote eligible, with occasional travel between company locations potentially required.

Salary: $32.97–$51.51 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess hardware and software requirements and procure Windows and Apple systems, servers, peripherals, tablets, software, and licensing.
• Coordinate vendors, orders, deliveries, damage claims, inventory availability, and customer fulfillment activities.
• Manage IT Logistics ticket queues, assign and prioritize tickets, maintain statuses, and report department KPIs.
• Support IT projects, purchasing and inventory budgets, leasing programs, procurement records, and licensing documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and train internal customers on purchasing procedures, systems, and order processing.
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, test, and monitor applications, desktop systems, web interfaces, and related technical services.

Requirements

• Minimum eight years of progressively responsible experience supporting desktop users with hardware and software applications in a telecommunications or IT environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant education and experience may substitute year for year.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, Microsoft Windows/PC, Apple operating systems, desktop applications, messaging platforms, network security concepts, and web-based ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of customer order fulfillment, inventory, shipping, receiving, software licensing, and purchasing processes.
• Experience coordinating budgets, preparing quotes and reports, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting complex systems.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and provide occasional after-hours support in a 24/7 critical-services environment.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Systems, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Telecommunications trade school training or telecommunications experience.
• CompTIA A+ or another relevant telecommunications or job-specific certification.
• Intermediate knowledge of Oracle purchasing and inventory systems.
