Cloud AI Engineer (GCP)

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows using modern LLM frameworks.
• Build end-to-end retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, including document ingestion, parsing, embedding, indexing, retrieval, re-ranking, and grounded generation.
• Deploy containerized AI services and APIs on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Vertex AI, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Develop batch and streaming data pipelines, optimize SQL and data models, and integrate APIs, databases, files, and third-party services.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, tracing, logging, alerting, and incident response for LLM and agent systems.
• Document AI architectures and operational practices and support colleagues and clients in adopting the systems.

Requirements

• Production application development experience on Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Vertex AI.
• Strong Python skills and experience building maintainable services and applications.
• Hands-on experience shipping at least one production RAG or agentic LLM application.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and orchestration patterns such as ADK, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Solid SQL and BigQuery experience, plus Docker-based containerization and deployment.
• Experience evaluating and monitoring AI systems in production and working with collaborative Git-based development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google's Agent Development Kit, Vertex AI Agent Engine, Model Context Protocol, or LLM observability and evaluation tools.
• Google Cloud certification and experience with Terraform, CI/CD, workflow orchestration, or traditional machine learning.
• Frontend or full-stack experience, data visualization skills, or client-facing consulting experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, security, and privacy-conscious skills.
