Forward Deployed Engineer (GenAI/Snowflake)

Location: 100% remote, with legal eligibility to work in Canada required. Travel to client sites may be required depending on the engagement.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Scope projects with clients and the sales team by identifying business needs and technical challenges.
• Embed within client workflows and rapidly prototype and deploy solutions using Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
• Build GenAI applications, including agents, copilots, semantic search, and document intelligence solutions.
• Iterate on solutions based on direct client feedback and accelerate delivery from months to weeks.
• Develop reusable accelerators, templates, and best practices from patterns identified across engagements.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and Delivery leads during presales and project kickoffs.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and concise communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and manage ambiguity.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Experience building GenAI applications using RAG, agents, LLM orchestration, or prompt engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or Snowpark, plus familiarity with Git, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and complete criminal and credit background checks if selected.

• Education, teaching, or conference-speaking experience.
• Financial services, consulting, or professional services experience.
• Data governance and security experience, including masking policies, row-level security, and access controls.
• Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, or data migration experience.
