Facilities Technician 1

Location: Remote, but must be located in the Milwaukee or Northern Illinois area to cover hirify.global Bank facilities. Regular quarterly property visits, annual site assessments, on-call emergency response, and mandatory overtime may be required.

Salary: $21.00–$37.50 hourly, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

hirify.global operates retail and corporate bank facilities requiring ongoing property maintenance and facility support.

What you will do

• Manage maintenance, construction, relocation, remodeling, project planning, and budgeting for assigned bank properties.
• Self-perform approximately 40–60% of non-contracted maintenance services.
• Perform HVAC filter changes, lighting, plumbing, electrical, exterior, interior, and general repairs.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, develop work processes, and verify vendor performance and pricing.
• Visit assigned properties quarterly and complete annual site assessments in the facilities work order system.
• Support facility managers and coordinators while communicating with internal customers and property owners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
• At least 3 years of facilities management experience.
• Experience creating or maintaining facility repair budgets and reviewing vendor proposals.
• General maintenance skills, HVAC knowledge, computer proficiency, and ability to use facilities management work order software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and provide basic hand tools; a company vehicle and required power tools are provided as applicable.

Nice to have

• Trade certifications.
• Preventive maintenance experience across multiple facilities, including plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical repairs, furniture moves, and vendor scheduling.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and facilities management software.
• Project management, budgeting, documentation, leadership, time management, and quality assurance skills.
