Senior FP&A Analyst (Cloud Hosting)

Location: Remote in Canada or the United States

Salary: $115,200–$194,400 USD annually for residents of the United States.

What you will do

• Manage and report on cloud and AI-related expenses using actual results, usage drivers, and business drivers.
• Maintain forecast models and support forecasting, annual planning, operating plans, and long-term financial models.
• Execute month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and close commentary.
• Analyze cloud billing data from provider consoles, billing exports, and other sources, translating findings into narratives and recommendations.
• Partner with engineering, product, procurement, accounting, and finance stakeholders to resolve data questions and support spending decisions.
• Use AI tools to automate recurring analysis, reporting, data preparation, and finance workflows while improving data quality and scalability.

Requirements

• Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or finance business partnering.
• Experience with vendor spend, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including investigating variances and evaluating financial trade-offs.
• Ability to translate complex financial and operational information into clear narratives and recommendations.
• Experience with cloud and AI vendor spend.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, communicate clearly, and manage changing priorities in an asynchronous environment.

Nice to have

• Cloud cost management or FinOps experience.
