Assistant Branch Manager

Location: Southampton, New York, United States of America; onsite branch work with face-to-face customer interaction.

Salary: $31.72–$52.86 hourly.

What you will do

• Support branch management in sales, business development, marketing, operations, and customer relationship growth.
• Identify customer financial needs, present banking products and services, open accounts, and generate referrals.
• Contact customers proactively, manage portfolios, support sales promotions, and build relationships during the first 90 days.
• Own complex account servicing and error-resolution issues, including escalations and overrides.
• Coach branch employees on customer experience, sales generation, procedures, and operational issues.
• Supervise branch operations during the Branch Manager’s absence and support staffing, training, scheduling, performance management, and hiring.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 4 years of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience; alternatively, 6 years of combined higher education and work experience including 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing required within 18 months; branch training is provided within 6 months.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, time management, prioritization, and sales/business development skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers, word-processing and spreadsheet software, and email.
• Ability to maintain operational, security, control, risk management, fraud prevention, KYC, CIP, and Federal SAFE Act requirements.

• Life and Health Insurance Agent license.
• Bilingual communication skills based on branch needs.
• Understanding of branch profitability and experience with the internet.
