Branch General Manager (Banking)

What you will do

• Manage and coach bankers with assigned customer books of business.
• Lead branch sales, customer service, operations, security, risk, and regulatory activities.
• Manage high-value consumer and business customer portfolios and drive referrals to internal banking partners.
• Develop consumer and business relationships, meet production and referral goals, and run a consistent business development and calling program.
• Educate colleagues on banking products, services, technology, and policies while identifying sales and service opportunities.
• Build community relationships and oversee recruitment and hiring for the assigned market.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of sales management experience in retail banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Ability to manage branch sales, service, operations, and financial performance across branch and digital channels.
• Knowledge of banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, deposits, sales leadership, customer service, and coaching.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and colleague development skills.
• Fingerprinting and additional background checks may be required under NMLS regulations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of branch management experience.
