Senior Designer, Licensed Product Design (Fashion & Accessories)

Location: Universal City, California, United States. Hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office. Travel may be required.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead creative development of apparel and fashion accessories, including bags, headwear, and footwear, for licensed entertainment properties.
• Analyze streetwear, luxury, and other market trends to create fashion-forward, character-driven product concepts.
• Translate macro and micro fashion trends into seasonal product stories and cohesive apparel and accessory lines.
• Provide licensees with detailed feedback on textiles, construction, graphic placement, and product execution.
• Adapt and expand style guides for complex garment and accessory constructions.
• Review licensee submissions from concept through final sample and coordinate with Category Management, Legal, Franchise, licensees, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of senior-level fashion design experience in apparel, bags, footwear, or related categories.
• Professional portfolio showing original contributions across the full product development lifecycle, from concept to final produced products.
• Portfolio examples should include sketches, trend research, graphics and logos, pattern and print development, overlays or redlines, tech packs, sampling iterations, and final products.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator; working knowledge of InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Strong understanding of fashion tech packs, fabric properties, washes, embellishment techniques, color, material sourcing, and translating 2D graphics into 3D garment constructions.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, adaptability, and design decision-making skills.
