Electronic Assembler (Weekend Shift)

Location: Hollister, CA, United States; onsite weekend shift, 5:00 AM–6:00 PM Friday–Sunday

Salary: $20–$37 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus

Develops energetic materials, electronic devices, instruments, sensors, and subsystems for mission-critical military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications.

What you will do

• Perform production assembly operations on electronic components, PCB assemblies, subassemblies, and related units.
• Hand-load PCB assemblies using schematics, drawings, visual aids, and written instructions.
• Solder electronic components, including fine-pitch components, with lead and lead-free solder according to IPC standards.
• Solder under a microscope and identify, repair, and rework soldering anomalies.
• Modify, reassemble, and incorporate engineering or customer drawing callouts into assemblies.
• Attend offsite training when required to maintain certification requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify component values.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and visual aids.
• Flexible, self-starting approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements; export-control authorization may also be required.
