Field Service Technician - Spokane, WA (Medical Devices)

Location: Spokane, WA, US; field-based role requiring on-site service at customer facilities and travel throughout the assigned territory.

Salary: $37–$46 per hour

What you will do

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair, and technical support to customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service using approved procedures, tools, test equipment, and replacement parts.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
• Support product demonstrations, customer meetings, in-services, sales opportunities, and maintenance contract renewals.
• Maintain customer and internal team relationships while mentoring Maintenance Technicians and supporting field training.
• Complete service reports, manage inventory and expenses, comply with warranty and service agreements, and meet required KPIs and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent military training or combined education and experience is also accepted.
• At least 2 years of field service, technical maintenance, repair, or related technical support experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics, system diagrams, technical manuals, and service documentation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, electronic test equipment, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently, meet customer credentialing requirements, work varied schedules, operate in confined spaces, and lift up to 75 pounds.
