Sequence Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; onsite work involving office and factory/cleanroom environments.

Salary: $69,000–$101,000 base annual salary.

What you will do

• Specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test modules and tools within system, cost, and project-planning constraints.
• Work with the Change Control Board and stakeholders across development, production engineering, manufacturing, and other disciplines to develop bills of material, sequences, and routings.
• Create and manage bills of materials and bills of process in Teamcenter.
• Review manufacturing procedures, data collection, automated torque tooling, and specifications.
• Develop and deliver training programs for new ways of working in sequence engineering.
• Maintain labor and cycle-time targets, establish manufacturing process flows during new product introduction, and apply Lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with 0–2+ years of experience, or an equivalent working and thinking level.
• In-depth knowledge of tasks within the area of expertise and basic knowledge of sub-modules and modules.
• Ability to work under deadlines and perform required office and factory duties, including movement around the campus and lifting requirements.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom wearing required protective equipment and to work around potential strong magnetic fields, high voltage, high currents, and moderate to high noise levels.
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations before beginning work.

Nice to have

• Experience creating and managing bills of materials in engineering and manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Teamcenter, Teamcenter Manufacturing Process Planner, and SAP.
• Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
