What you will do

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, production controls, equipment, and workflow layouts.
• Review specifications, bid proposals, and cost estimates to assess feasibility, manufacturability, investment needs, and delivery schedules.
• Lead new product introductions by developing processes, tooling, production controls, assembly methods, and proofing activities.
• Plan work measurement studies, define operations, balance production lines to target takt times, and maintain labor routings.
• Provide technical support for production, materials, quality, and safety issues on the shop floor.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Flow Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, scrap reduction, uptime improvement, and capital equipment projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline.
• 1–3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of formal problem-solving methods, Lean Manufacturing principles, production costing, and financial controls.
• Experience supporting new product and process introductions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio, plus manufacturing support software.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, interpersonal, leadership, training, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNC programming, tool design and selection, or Total Productive Maintenance.
• A structured, logical, and systematic approach to process visualization and efficiency.
