Validation Engineer II (Automotive)

What you will do

• Identify validation requirements for new products and product changes with product, application, and design engineers.
• Create validation test plans and coordinate test requests with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate testing activities with hirify.global test laboratories globally and report status and findings to the engineering group.
• Summarize test results and prepare reports for internal and external customers.
• Lead decisions related to customer testing specifications, hirify.global standards, and international standards.
• Update internal specifications, instructions, and procedures when requirements change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar validation engineering role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of automotive DC electrical test equipment and automotive electrical component design or product validation.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques, reliability testing, design of experiments, solid models, and engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of APQP procedures and core tools including FMEA, control plans, AAPQP, and PPAP.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1 level is required.
