Software Engineer (Go)

Location: Remote from Costa Rica

What you will do

• Design and build well-tested cloud-native platform features and services, primarily in Go.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, Kubernetes adoption, and infrastructure automation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to support system reliability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scoped technical initiatives.
• Develop practical expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, and application security.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience building and maintaining software systems.
• Growing proficiency in Go and familiarity with backend development; Python experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, including APIs, messaging, and data consistency.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and observability practices such as logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or model evaluation pipelines.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
